CCTV maintenance
Keep it recording
when it counts.
The worst time to discover a camera stopped recording is after something happens. Annual servicing keeps lenses clear, drives healthy, firmware current and alerts working — for our systems and anyone else's.
What a service includes
A full health check, not a glance.
Cameras drift, spiders build webs across lenses, hard drives wear out silently and firmware falls behind on security patches. A service visit checks every camera image, cleans and realigns, verifies recording on every channel, tests storage health and updates the recorder.
- Every camera image checked and lens cleaned
- Recording verified on all channels
- Hard drive health test and replacement advice
- Firmware and app updates
- Alert rules retested
- Written report for insurers

Questions
Good to know.
Can you service a system you didn't install?
Yes. We take over most mainstream brands — audit first, then a fixed price to bring it up to standard.
How often should CCTV be serviced?
Annually for homes; every six to twelve months for commercial sites, depending on environment and insurer requirements.
My camera has gone blurry — is that a service or a repair?
Often a service: dirt, condensation or a knocked lens. If the sensor has failed, see CCTV repairs.
